TLX4x4 offers a comprehensive range of Gen-3 HD Alloy UTE Trays to suit your specific UTE model and needs.
Available in three configurations for Common UTEs:
Dual Cab: Measuring 1800mm (L) x 1850mm (W) x 870mm (H), this option provides a well-balanced combination of load space and dual cab passenger comfort.
Extra Cab: At 2100mm (L) x 1850mm (W) x 870mm (H), the Extra Cab tray offers extra load carrying and payload capacity.
Single Cab: This configuration maximises load space with dimensions of 2400mm (L) x 1850mm (W) x 870mm (H), ideal for larger equipment or heavy-duty applications.
For the legendary Toyota Landcruiser 79, TLX4x4 provides two tray sizes:
Dual Cab: Matching the footprint of the Common UTE Dual Cab at 1800mm (L) x 1850mm (W), this tray integrates seamlessly with the Landcruiser’s design. The increased headboard height of 1010mm (H) matches the taller cabin seamlessly.
Single Cab: This option mirrors the dimensions of the Single Cab for Common UTEs at 2400mm (L) x 1850mm (W), but with an increased headboard height of 1010mm (H).
American Trucks
Recognising the diverse needs of American truck owners, TLX4x4 offers two lengths for Gen-3 HD Alloy Trays: 2100mm and 2400mm. All American Truck trays share a standard width of 2000mm (W) and a headboard height of 960mm (H).

- Side Toolboxes: Rear side toolboxes are standard with all trays and chassis mounted canopies. Front side toolboxes can be added to some extra and single cab vehicles. The toolbox lids are available in natural alloy, black or colour matched.

A canopy can be fitted to any tray or chassis-mounted base of equal or longer length.
- 1500mm canopies are most popular on dual-cab vehicles
- 940mm canopies suit any size vehicle that needs usable tray space behind the canopy

Headboard
Topped with a robust 76.2mm x 4.25mm mandrel bent alloy head tube, the headboard provides a solid foundation for securing loads.
Headboard Uprights
These uprights, manufactured from high strength 100mm x 55mm x 4mm alloy C channel, ensure a secure connection between the headboard and the chassis.
Chassis Main Runners
The core of the tray’s structure is formed by 100mm x 50mm x 8mm alloy C channel chassis main runners, offering exceptional rigidity for heavy loads.
One-Piece Floor Sheet
A 4mm high-tensile 5083 Marine Grade alloy floor sheet provides a smooth, water-resistant load bed. This marine-grade alloy is known for its superior corrosion resistance, which ideal for harsh Australian conditions.
Integrated Rope Rails
Full-length 25mm x 3mm rope rails integrated into the tray sides offer convenient tie-down points for securing your cargo.
Extruded Dropsides
Constructed from robust 3mm extruded aluminium, the dropsides provide additional cargo capacity and can be easily removed when not required. Stainless steel hinges and latches ensure secure closure and long-lasting performance.
Standard Side Toolboxes
Two conveniently positioned side toolboxes behind the rear wheels offer valuable lockable storage for tools and equipment.
Side Coamings
4mm chequer plate side coamings add strength and a bit of contrast to the tray design, protecting the edges from wear and tear.
Adjustable Wheel Guards
Tailored for optimal tire coverage and debris protection, the 3mm heavy-duty alloy wheel guards are adjusted during fitting to accommodate various wheel sizes.
Tapered Rear Pressing
This design element enhances the tray’s aesthetics and provides additional clearance for larger loads.
Cab/Tray Infill Kit (where required
For certain UTE models, a custom cab/tray infill kit ensures a clean and seamless visual connection between the cab and the tray.

Additional Considerations
Please note that depending on your specific vehicle type and desired configuration, additional costs may be incurred for:
Removal of Existing Tub or Tray
If your UTE currently has a tub or tray installed, its removal is necessary to install your new Gen-3 HD Alloy Tray.
Retrofitting Rear Safety hardware
